The British Masters Athletics Federation 33rd Open Relay Championships

NB This event is for runners over 35

The course is traffic-free on a safe tarmac course. 

 Medals will be awarded to the first three teams in each age category.

British Masters entries close 17/04/2022. Early entries are advised as the number of entries may be restricted which will result in bringing forward the closing date.

UKA registration is mandatory for entry to the championships.

 

Men 35+ (6 Stages - £75 per team)
Men 45+ (4 Stages - £50 per team)
Men 55+ (3 Stages - £37.50 per team)
Men 65+ (3 Stages - £37.50 per team)
Men 75+ (3 Stages - £37.50 per team)
Women 35+ (4 Stages - £50.00 per team)
Women 45+ (3 Stages - £37.50 per team)
Women 55+ (3 Stages - £37.50 per team)

 Race 1 – 10:30: Women’s 4-Stage - W35
Race 2 – 10:35: Women’s and Men’s 3-Stage – W45+, W55+, W65+ and M75+
Race 3 – 12:25: Men’s 3-Stage – M55 and M65
Race 4 – 14:00: Men’s 6-Stage – M35
Race 5 – 14:05: Men’s 4-Stage – M45

  • This relay takes place every year over a 3 mile course at Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield Birmingham B74 2YT
  • Women’s and male teams are made up of 3, 4 or 6 depending on your age group.
  • You need to be over 35 for this relay.
  • This year's relay will take place place on 23th April 2022.
  • Club vest need to be worn.
  • If you want to do this relay expect to be out all day, in past years the club has arranged a coach to transport runners who contributed £10 to the cost.
