Well done to our 12 runners in this year's Calderdale Relay. After a couple of years lay-off due to Covid we were able to get a strong Open Team together. Relays are all about strength in depth and the Middleton runners shone through. With a good selection of runners new to the event, experience and speed, the team done well!

Sunday Morning saw the Harriers take on the undulating terrain of Lancashire in the Blacksticks Blue 10K. This was a first for the Club and the invigorating climb of the first half of the race was rewarded with fine views to the west (for those not blinded by perspiration!)
First home for the men and 10th overall was Paul Cain in a time of 38:33 and first lady was Jo Adamson in 44:33. As ever our hard work was rewarded by well deserved category wins for Jo Adamson and John Hall, and an delicious wedge of blue cheese for all finishers. Bacon butties, cake and coffee made this an excellent venue and there was a lot of support for this race to be considered again.
Our Championship tables have been updated an can be found here.

Welcome to Middleton Harriers, a running club with a great social side to it. We cater for absolute beginners with our Couch 2 5K Programme, people who prefer a social run and chat and runners wishing to improve. We compete in Road, Cross Country, Fell and Trail Races, as well as regional and national relays. Use the Drop Down menu to the left of this page for more information.
Michelle and Dave have released the summer training schedule for the Fell Runners and it can be found on our Fell Training page here.
The training group is open to all Middleton Harriers and we ask that people wear appropriate footwear and should always ensure you bring a hat, gloves, waterproof and extra layers (and a head torch in winter), you never know what the weather may be like on the fells. Please let Michelle know if you are attending or if you were attending then decide not to come on: 07753 122326
