Joining Information

Before joining the club, we allow people to run with us for a few weeks first to see if our  club suits you. Membership forms to join can then be found in the "Club Information" section.

What to do:

  • Read the information below about our Training Nights on this website - decide which session would best suit yourself and then go to relevant venue at the time on the appropriate day. (you will need to be earlier than than the times- they are set off running times).
  • If you are new to running and uncertain of your abilities we have a Couch to 5K programme and we will also provide you with a "Buddy" to accompany you on our training sessions. Make yourself known to the session leader on the night and we will arrange everything.
  • If you need more information please contact using the "Contact Us" Heading and we will get back to you.

Once you are a member you may like to take part in one of our  club championship leagues, we have mini competitions within the club for Road, Fell and Cross Country.  There are  overall prizes for winners of every age group. All the championship races can be found under the All Races at a Glance heading.

If you run a race and want to be counted in the club championship you must wear a Middleton vest, have entered under Middleton Harriers, paid your yearly subscription. We do not permit people to wear headphones in races, so if you wear them you will NOT be counted.
